Become a newspaper editor!

Create your own newspaper ’published’ in the ancient Rome or Athens. Give it a title!

Contents should be: sports, a recipe, 3 local ads, a short interview (5-6 questions) with someone famous (politician, artist, philosopher, scientist etc) and a brief description (max 10-12 sentences) of a historical event you ’witnessed’, gossips. Besides feel free to add more…..

It can be printed or handwritten.

Year 10

Write a diary!

Keep a diary of a week spent on a ship of some well-known explorer as a sailor OR a week-long diary kept by a merchant trading on the Silk Road

(min 5 - max 10 sentences/day)

Year 11

Draw a cartoon!

Design a political cartoon of a historical figure or event. Use any technique but don’t forget the criteria of what makes a good political cartoon!
